You will need:

1 cup flour

1/2 cup salt

2 teaspoons of cream of tartar

1 cup of water

2 tablespoons of cooking oil

a few drops of food coloring

a large sauce pan

covered plastic containers

To Make:

Mix all ingredients in a saucepan.

Stir continuously over a hot burner until the mixture becomes thick. (this only takes 1-2 minutes)

Cool slightly and then knead until smooth.

Store in refrigerator in covered plastic containers.
