For the chalk mixture you will need:

1 cup plaster of Paris
4 tablespoons of water
Food coloring

To mold the chalk you will need:

waxed paper
rubber bands
toilet paper rolls

Step One: Combine the plaster of paris, water and food coloring together, stirring it until it feels like toothpaste.

Step Two: Pour the mixture into cardboard toilet paper rolls and cover the ends of the roll with waxed paper, securing it with a rubber band.

Step Three: Let dry. The sticks of chalk must be completely dry before being removed from their molds.

Step Four: Give the sticks of chalk to your favorite children to use and then admire their artistry. ^_^
