Duo: Hi! An' welcome to this new part of the Archive!
Relena: Melody FIN'LY wrote a romantical story 'bout me 'n Heero! (clasps her hands to her heart and sighs) I can hardly wait to read it!
Trowa: She's not gonna let you read it yet.
Wufei: So you'll just HAFTA wait.
Relena: (hands on hips, challenges) Well! How do YOU know?!
Quatre: 'Cause Melody says we're too young to be in this part of the Archive. We're just doin' the Interduction for it.
Relena: !
Milliardo: That's just the way it is, Relena.
Treize: So the only reasonable reaction on your part is to accept it gracefully.
Duo: (to Heero) Like she can do ANYTHING gracefully! (sniggers)
Heero: Come on, Relena. We gotta go somewheres else now.
Relena pouts.
Heero: (attempting to make her feel better about it) 'N 'sides, a romantical story can't be all that good, anyways.
Relena: If I go nicely an' don't cry 'bout it, will ya have a picnic with me? (coyly) I'll make you your fav'rite samwich.
Heero is enticed by the prospect of a peanutbutter and grape jelly sandwich with a slice of cheese and a slice of raw onion--a culinary concoction that Melody refuses to make for him.
Heero: (bargaining) With Jal'peno Lem'nade?
Relena: Anythin' ya want, dumplin'!
Heero: (decides not to object to being called "dumpling" because he might not get his food if he does) Okay, but just a SHORT picnic, alright?
Relena: (happily) Alright! (takes Heero by the hand and drags him off to the kitchen)
Heero: (as he is being enthusiastically led away) Can we make that TWO samwiches?
The rest of the chibis leave, with the exception of Duo. He has been writing on a large piece of paper to make a sign for this new part of the Archive. He hangs it up proudly and goes to join the rest of the chibis.
Submissions
General Rules
1. Since this is a Christian website, please understand that no yaoi, yuri, shonen ai, lemon, lime, hentai, swearing (beyond "hells" and "damns", used in great moderation, if you think it is necessary to the story or the character; the only exceptions have to be approved by the Webmommie and will be marked accordingly), blasphemy, immorality (including unmarried sexual relationships), deathfics or rapefics will be accepted.
2. No supernatural stuff--i.e. people coming back from the dead, etc. You can write to Melody for clarification about that.
3. G, PG and PG-13 stories are acceptable if they fall within the above guidelines.
4. No self-insertions, please!
5. The ratings given by the Webmommie to the stories posted on this page will not be altered. ^_^
6. Melody 'edits' all of the fics that are submitted. The editing may include not allowing material that is in conflict with the submissions guidelines, but it is often for spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors. She also gives suggestions about how to vary the sentences so the same words and phrases are not used repeatedly, and also makes comments on especially cleverly written lines and what she likes best about the story. Fanfic will be returned to the author for approval before posting. Using any of the suggested changes is up to the author because they are only suggestions. All of these things are done in an effort to help the authors grow as writers, and are not meant to be critical in any way. ^_^
