Green Bean Casserole
You will need:
one small frying pan
Topping:
5 oz sliced almonds
To make:
Preheat oven to 350. Combine all casserole ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir gently until well mixed. Place in a 2 qt casserole dish and bake 35-40 minutes. In small frying pan, sautee cracker crumbs and almonds in butter until all are well coated. Top casserole with cracker/almond mixture and bake an additional 5 minutes.
Makes about 8 servings.

2 cans french cut green beans (we like to use Del Monte)
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can white shoepeg corn
1 8 oz carton sour cream
1 cup grated cheddar (medium or sharp)
1 diced red onion
Salt to taste
1 small can sliced mushrooms (optional)
1 cup Ritz cracker crumbs
2 tbsp butter or margarine
