~August 1~

"Repent ye therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that so there may come seasons of refreshing from the presence of the Lord;" Acts 3:19, 21

Then shall Jehovah go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. But Israel shall be saved by Jehovah with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be put to shame nor confounded world without end. Isaiah 45:17

Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem; for Jehovah hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. 10 Jehovah hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. Isaiah 52:9-10

~August 27~

I pray that the love you have for one another will grow deeper and stronger, becoming more and more discerning and intelligent. This love will help you live pure, blameless lives until you meet the Lord. 2 Peter 3:10

~August 28~

Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, so also it is now. Galatians 4:28-29

And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples as dew from Jehovah, as showers upon the grass, that tarry not for man, nor wait for the sons of men. And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep; who, if he go through, treadeth down and teareth in pieces, and there is none to deliver. “Behold, I have refined thee, but not as silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.” Isaiah 48:10
